2. User Registration & Identity Verification
To access certain features (e.g., messaging, listings), you must register and provide accurate, complete information.
We reserve the right to verify your identity using documentation or third-party services. Verification does not imply endorsement.
Any false information or impersonation may result in immediate account suspension or termination.
3. Messaging System
Registered users can use our internal messaging system to communicate.
Messages must be respectful, relevant, and must not contain spam, harassment, or commercial solicitation unrelated to listed dogs.
We may monitor or remove messages in cases of abuse, fraud, or policy violations.
4. Breeder Listings & Paid Adverts
Breeders must pay a fee to list dogs for sale. Prices and packages are outlined on our [Pricing Page] and are in GBP.
Each listing must truthfully represent a pedigree dog with accurate breed, age, health, and registration details.
Listings are subject to moderation and may be removed if they breach these Terms or UK animal welfare laws.
5. Prohibited Listings & Content
You must not list or upload:
Non-pedigree dogs or mixed breeds
Banned or restricted dog breeds
Misleading information or fraudulent health/breed claims
Copyright-infringing material, offensive or obscene content
6. Fees and Payments
Fees for breeder advertisements are clearly displayed and must be paid upfront.
Payments are processed securely via third-party payment providers.
Refunds are not issued, except in cases of technical failure or error at our end.
We reserve the right to change pricing at any time, with reasonable notice.
7. User Conduct
You must act in good faith and with honesty in all interactions.
You must not harvest user data, scrape content, or misuse the platform for scams or deceptive practices.
Violations may lead to permanent suspension without refund.
8. Content Ownership & Licence
You retain ownership of content you post, but grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it for marketing, display, and promotion.
You confirm that any images or content uploaded are yours or that you have full permission to use them.
9. Disclaimers
Pedigree Portal Ltd does not own, vet, or sell any dogs listed. All transactions are between buyer and breeder.
We cannot guarantee the health, quality, or temperament of dogs, nor the honesty of breeders or buyers.
Listings and user interactions are moderated, but we accept no liability for any loss or damage resulting from them.
10. Account Suspension and Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account for any breach of these Terms or if you bring the platform into disrepute.
In serious cases, law enforcement may be notified.
11. Intellectual Property
The Website, logo, and all content (except user-uploaded material) are owned by or licensed to Pedigree Portal Ltd.
You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Website without our express permission.
